Project Overview

Myton Kitchens Ltd was commissioned to oversee a kitchen and bedroom renovation.
The kitchen involved building works and a rear extension. The design chosen incorporated the re-locating of the back door and also involved removing internal walls.

The Kitchen build and design needed to complement an existing extension but made larger, creating more space to incorporate more cabinets and a functional island with seating.

The couple had a separate dining room and lounge which they also wanted to keep and weren’t part of the new open plan layout.

The space created opened up the kitchen wonderfully making it the perfect spot to cook, entertain and relax.

For the kitchen, they wanted a sleek design which was very minimalistic. They opted for a handless gloss door and quartz worktops.

For their bedroom, we worked with the existing space and created a more modern design which had a simple and elegant feel whilst maximising on the extra storage fitted furniture offered them.

After making a decision to extend the kitchen in our home, we visited a variety of kitchen companies and showrooms but it quickly became clear that Myton Kitchen based in Dewsbury was the firm favourite due to their professionalism and attention to detail.

A small family run business with decades of experience provided guidance and support whilst at the same time listening attentively to our preferences and ultimate vision.

Design options with a wealth of knowledge from the Myton team were provided and ideas became succinct. They were able to suggest how to maximise the additional space and light providing a clear picture of what the eventual outcome might look like.

When work began, Myton liaised constantly with the builder and monitored the additional team of electricians, plasterers, plumbers and decorators throughout the process.
Deadlines were met and the attention to detail throughout could only be described as meticulous.

We are delighted with the outcome of this project and cannot recommend Myton highly enough.
