Project Overview
Mr. and Mrs. R approached us to modernise their existing kitchen and make better use of the generous space, which had previously been extended which included the removal of the original external wall.
Their main priority was increasing storage without compromising the open feel of the room. To achieve this, we redesigned the layout by replacing the existing island with a peninsula, creating additional cupboards and worktop space while improving the overall flow of the kitchen.
Another key element of the brief was incorporating an American-style fridge freezer, seamlessly framed by full-height larder cupboards to provide a cohesive, built-in appearance and even more practical storage.
The homeowners chose a contemporary two-tone colour scheme, pairing darker base units with lighter wall units to create depth and contrast. Black fixtures and fittings throughout completed the look, adding a sleek, modern finish that perfectly complemented the design.
The result is a stylish and highly functional kitchen that maximises storage, enhances the flow of the space, and provides a fresh, contemporary look tailored to the homeowners’ lifestyle.
